Recommendations
The Peach State Depression Glass Club (PSDGC) does NOT:
- Do appraisals
- Endorse any appraisers or websites for appraisals at this time
- Have lists of dealers wanting to purchase glass
- Buy or sell glass
If you want to establish a value for your glass or wish to sell it, we do have the following suggestions:
- Join the PSDG Club:
- Vast library of reference books
- Monthly educational programs on a variety of glass topics
- Member support
- Consult the National Depression Glass Association website [ www.ndga.net ] for informative articles about glass.
- Attend the PSDGC Annual Collectible Glass Show and Sale (Held in Marietta, GA each July).
- Dealers at our show may be interested in purchasing your glass. You are welcome to come to the show and ask them personally. You cannot bring your glass into the show; however, the dealers will go outside with you to look at it. You might want to bring a list and some photos.
- Glass identification services are available at the show (limit three pieces).
- Consult reference books from your library or local book store.
- Visit antique malls or stores.
- Visit these websites:
- Donate your glass to a museum:
- PSDGC exhibit at the Marietta Museum
- West Virginia Museum of American Glass
- National Depression Glass Association Museum
- Join these Facebook groups:
- Facebook has a closed group called Depression Glass Buy, Sell, Trade (www.facebook.com/groups/502515753146624). Search the group and request to be added. Several dealers use the site and can be very helpful.
- Facebook has another closed group called Depression Glass (www.facebook.com/pages/Depression-glass/106623606040430) but it is only to display and ask questions about Depression Glass. NO sales are allowed in that group. It is a very good way to learn more about your glass.
